The Irvine Animal Care Center hosts two large adoption events throughout the year, as well as various donation drives and smaller activities to support animals in need.
FOSTER DONATION DRIVE
March 1–31: Help animals in need when you donate to the annual Irvine Animal Care Center Foster Donation Drive. The center will be collecting essential supplies like Breeder’s Edge powdered formula, Mother & Babycat cat food (wet and dry), potty pads, and more for foster puppies and kittens and animals in recovery. Don't forget to join us Saturday, March 8, for our Foster Donation Celebration where you can drop off supplies at the center in person.
VIRTUAL 5K
April 1–31: Lace up your sneakers, grab your furry friend, and get ready to make a difference! The annual Irvine Animal Care Center Virtual 5K kicks off April 1. This flexible event lets you conquer your 5K at your own pace and location, whether it's a walk around the neighborhood with loved ones, a fun run on the treadmill, or an invigorating trail adventure. Every step you take makes a difference for the animals at the Irvine Animal Care Center. Registration opens late March.
CALIFORNIA ADOPT-A-PET-DAY
June 7: The Irvine Animal Care Center is excited to be part of a special, statewide adoption event, California-Adopt-a-Pet Day, Saturday, June 7. Thanks to the generous support of the ASPCA in partnership with CalAnimals, all adoption fees June 7 are free.
